Secure Trajectories
Secure Trajectories is the technical record of the Sondera team’s research on the mechanics of agent control.
We have reached a technical inflection point. AI agents are becoming a primary interface for work, but there is a fundamental gap between how these agents act and how we secure them. Existing security is built for predictable software; it cannot adequately govern the nature of autonomous action.
Our work defines the systems needed for deterministic control. We move beyond filtering what agents say to governing what they do: an architecture that separates reasoning from execution to achieve reliable autonomy.
Research Focus
We document the engineering required to turn autonomous agents into steerable assets. Our research focuses on three pillars:
Deterministic Execution: Controlling the specific functions, tools, and APIs an agent is permitted to call.
Active Context: Validating the intent and history of agent actions in real-time to prevent goal-drift.
The Control Plane: Building the software layer that enforces policy on agentic systems.
The Authors
This publication is the collective output of security veterans and AI researchers dedicated to unblocking the agentic era through deterministic engineering.
